ive been loading it for over 40 years. all my presses are set up for all my powders. I stopped playing musical powders and wads when I found all the ones that work in my guns.
all my guns perform the same.
and the wads and powder perform same.
pretty simple.
when ya got a recipe for the best apple pie, don't go putting more sugar in it. :>
btw, when they changed the red dot recipe, it effected my load performance, to a point that I no longer load fed hulls or use 12SO anymore. I went back to rem hulls.
thank GOD 700x is 700x. its a rock solid unchanged powder....in this world of having to have 15 different choices for everything and anything.
that's why I don't need these 7/8oz wads. im a 1 1/8oz old school shooter.
I figured you been shooting "700X" for at least 30 years as most 700X shooters have been shooting the powder forever......but not 40 years. "GRINNING"
I have to admit I am a 7/8 oz shooter.....my tolerance to recoil is not what it used to be.
