Finally, the first 50* day of the year let me get into one spot to get 'er out for initial testing.

Set the target up at 200, set shlt up, and commenced to making empties:

First up was R-26 with 110 Sierra SMK's. As I went up in powder, ES went down, but groups went up. As big as the BC's are, I was really hoping that these would perform, but it wasn't to be. I did get them to 3370, and pressure was starting to show.

Next up, R-26 with Hornady 108 ELD's. This combo was the best in the first barrel, and it didn't disappoint this time either.

Ran them to 3375, and that was the sweet spot, a 3 shot group of .395"!!!

ES was higher than I like, but you gotta like that group at 200 yards.


Nice to go home on a high note.....
