Everyone has to assess their risk tolerance for their particular circumstances. We are scheduled to do a cruise in the mediterranean (Italy, Greece, Turkey, etc.) this fall. I suspect we will postpone that trip until next year and see what 2021 brings.
Currently reported death rate is a bit over 3%, significantly higher for health compromised individuals and as you get older. When you get to the stage where cities go into lockdown mode and large gatherings/events are cancelled, it is not insignificant.
