A long time ago I put a 3-9 22 rimfire tree reticle scope system and used it on an AR shooting VLD-style bullets. Once the subtensions were known of each stadia point I simply calcd the zeros in 50-yd increments out to about 600 in std. conditions, and then recalcd the stadia zeros, i.e. if the 2nd and 3rd stadia are say 4.5 MOA and 7.5 MOA, and the 450 yd. zero is say 4.8, that's .3 MOA beyond 2nd stadia, since there are 3 MOA between them .3/3=1. So my 450 yd. dope is 2.1 stadia units. See how it works? By applying a system like this (including windage calcs) you can use just about any reticle for any trajectory.
