While not an equal comparison I’d say a lot of dems feel the way a lot of republicans did when bob Dole was the anointed one.
Dementia is a beast of a disease. Alzheimer’s took my mother and vascular dementia is taking my dad. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone in any of its forms.
