Sounds like the lord is giving her a chance to get well. I will pray for all of your family and friends. I lost my Dad to this kind of thing and alcohol was mainly to blame. (1974). It gets better a bit at a time. It sounds better than just survival now. Please don't blame your Dad. You have to figure lots of things out with your spouse over the years.
