World trade is as old as Marco Polo. Trade just needs to fair trade.
Shipping an entire industrial base with few exceptions to a country that hates us is not fair trade.
Most high schools haven't had vocational education for the last several decades, opportunities for training in this country are sorely lacking save for the community college system. Even a two year associate degree is considered inferior to a bachelor degree. Society's thinking needs a paradigm change in the worst way in order to make this happen
Elitists look down on people with that sort of education. They are truly deplorable. I have a friend like that whose Wife thinks everyone should have a Masters at the minimum to ease thru the world. She must have really been irked since my friend was a Blue Collar Tool and Die Maker who supported the entire family while his wife sought worthless degrees . After years of menial jobs she finally came to her senses and got an RN.
