This is the roasted kudu knuckle. They also do and "eisbien" (pork ham hock) either roasted or deep fried and it's about that same size. I've tried to eat them both several times and never finished either one and they are both fantastic. Our next favorite dish there is the kudu steak.

I agree that Joe’s is a “Must See” when in Windhoek, and I have eaten there four times. For a change of pace, I ate at the Stellenbosch Winery in May 2019, and for about $18 US had a fabulous Fillet Mignon dinner with a couple of Tafel Lagers. It’s rated #1 in all of Namibia for Restaurants.
