If the jack-booted thugs show up in combat gear, then the militia reinforcements will be required to show up armed as well, or else stand down to fight another day, at a time and place of their choosing. Would not want to see this happen, but it is common place nowadays for LEO to show up in force for minor infractions, just to send a message.
I doubt LEO would follow a directive to shut down and arrest a lady trying to feed her kids, and to well meaning folks who want to be left alone.
