Snakes don’t really bother me too much, unless they’re where I need to be and they got a nasty attitude. Belligerent snakes won’t be tolerated, but I look on non-venomous as a good neighbor.
Wifey kills them near the house, but with mice and chipmunks in the flower beds, that’s where they need to be!
I used to work with a guy who was scared chitless of them. We got outta the van one day at a job, and Doug jumped 6 feet in the air and hit the ground running. There was a 9 or 10” garter snake in the grass! eek
He got whizzed off at me cause I just moved it away instead of killing it. Some people are such babies! grin
