I have heard it said that a brake stresses scopes ..I haven't found that the case..Why should it..I personally think it's the opposite ...It lessens recoil so should help....maybe I'm wrong ...I have a .300 Win mag with a brake and MeOpta scope and a 30/06 Ultra light with a Zeiss (made by MeOpta I'm told) with no problems after about 200 shots through each....My wife has a Tika 30/06 ,,brake..and a Zeiss with 100 shots ands no problems..Couple smiths I know that install brakes have never said a word about scope problems and brakes...I also think Burris would be fine as I've used them also.....
