It’s a conservative town, always has been. Every city this size has its “urban population”, but GR and its surrounding bedroom communities are as conservative as you’ll find anywhere else in the U.S.
Good folks came downtown from the suburbs in droves armed with brooms, shovels, and paint cleaners this morning to help store owners clean up.
