A 327 FM would be sweet with 32 longs for general assing around.

Yes it is, as is the SP101 4 inch in 327, or the Single Seven, although the SA is a bit heavier. But I do not purchase 32 long or 32 mag for low velocity ammo. I roll my own in 327 brass.

If you handload it is pretty easy to duplicate 32 long or 32 H&R mag with 78 gr Lasercast, or 85 gr HP jacketed in 327 brass. They work great for grouse, bunnies, or squirrels. I am also making very effective snake loads with Titegroup, #12 shot. and a couple gas checks to keep everything in place.

If traveling into an area infested with predators, instead of small game. Each revolver is quite capable when stoked with powder coated 120 gr cast over a max load of H110.
