I hope the outbreak is of a weaker strain, as from first hand experience seeing patients and family members die from covid, it's nothing to [bleep] around with.
It makes underlying conditions worse and will kill you in 24 hrs without proper treatment.
Getting early treatment is the key, as if you need to be on a ventilator, your chances of survival are in the lower percentages, especially for the elderly.
My Sister in law worked in a nursing home and got it in early April.
It screwed her up real bad and she's still dealing with the aftereffects.
She had Lyme two years ago and said that it feels like having Lyme on steroids.
