What Mike said. I believe the Mauser wins, but my go-to’s are a 280 and 9.3X62 on 1947 M70 actions.

Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!
