I won't get a check because I have direct deposit for my SS payment but no deposit yet. If I ever get the deposit I'll get the AC in my truck fixed ($1500 for Dodge to replace the 4 blend doors, recharge the system and replace the heater core). IRS has a payment status tool on their website but it says "payment status not available" but they're working on it.
