"Republican" does not mean "conservative".
Sure it does and it certainly does not mean liberal. But that aside. This is just another instance of the party in power failing and you refusing to make them pay for their incompetence. You guys are is so much denial. But this is what makes this place so funny.
Some of us have been criticizing the Repuglicans for quite some time for being (at best) Democrat Lite. Socialist Party B. Unfortunately, there are a large number of conservative voters that seem to love being stabbed in the back by Repuglican politicians, and they keep going back for more.
Mr. Beans is a total dipschit, but he is correct that there are a lot of conservatives in denial.
