FYI - I understand she grew up spending winters with her family at the falling-in cabin on Byer's Lake. Byer being the family name. Don Sheldon would fly them in for the trapping season, and out in the sprinl. I think they commercial fished in the summer. Well before Parks Hwy was built.
I'm told (same source) she takes a picture of the cabin every year, documenting its deterioration.
