Watched a Navajo roast a giant desert gerbil over a trash fire after desert storm was over .
Burnt the fur off it.
Roasted it.
Popped its belly scooped out the guts with a Mre spoon.
Broke off the legs , ate the meat off em.
It was a big too do for the 15 of us in that chalk
( 21 days in PZ posture waiting to leave Iraq)
Watching it was fascinating.......
