In Finland by far the most popular all-round cartridge is .308. Bird hunters tend to gravitate towards .222, .223 or 6,5x55. Those who mostly hunt deer and moose typically choose .308, 30-06 or 9,3x62. Factory cartridges are most often Lapua, Sako or Norma, the rifles Tikka or Sako.
