I found RL23 to work very well. 57gr under a 150gr Ballistic Tip for 3000fps in a 24" Remington 700. RL26 may give slightly higher velocity, but is not temperature stable. It is stated to be predictable. That's not the same as stable. RL23 is very temperature stable, and in most applications, only about 50fps behind RL26. I'll give up 50fps to gain consistency in cold temperatures, as is likely to be encountered in many hunting situations.
