I recently acquired a Sterling Davenport rifle. I got it for what I think was a good value. I am not really concerned about the price that I paid for it but am more interested in the parts that were used to make the rifle. I have tried numerous times to contact the Davenport company in AZ. I think it is now his son that I am trying to contact. I have used the phone number and as of yet been unsuccessful in reaching them. What I am interested in is if anyone knows did he use a particular barrel, trigger, type of wood on his firearms? I have removed the barrel from the gun and it is not stamped.
