this close to buying one of these 6CM actions, but instead, decided to go the other way and thin the Howa stuff from my herd. Which leaves me with a new and unused Hogue full-bed stock in ghillie green for Howa short actions.
I have read this thread and saw the hate for Hogue stocks. I'll agree and say I thoroughly dislike the fairly flexible, pillar-bed plastic stocks that LSI packages with Hogue rifles. But I've been told Hogue has never shipped a full-bed stock to LSI. The full-bed is a totally different animal, with a very different feel. I've personally gone back to back with this and the Vanguard S2 Griptonite stock, and I like the shape of this better. I think the difference comes down to the shape of the pistol grip, mostly.
