Highly likely they will vote to extend the powers. Too much money and power left on the table if they vote to halt emergency powers. Especially since the powers are awarded to the position and not the person.
I saw where Felix Rivera came out and condemned the mayors actions. Very convenient that Rivera is next in line if lil e' resigns or is forced out...
