I have a Colt Conversion kit and use it fairly often on my S70 Gold Cup and ancient Colt 1911. Works fine, is accurate (not .22 target pistol accurate but plenty good enough for general use), and reliable. My biggest complaint is about cleaning the floating chamber afterwards. That baked on impacted powder fouling is pretty tenacious.
