I have had conversion units from Colt, Ciener, Wilson, and Kimber; all were excellent for me. My very early Ciener kit did require some modification to work with my series 80 guns, but Ciener later made exactly the same change and they all work on most guns. In my experience, these conversion units tend to go off without a hitch, but in some cases may require some minor fitting. The Colt units are very reliable, but are a bit higher in maintenance to stay reliable (just clean it). The most accurate kit I have owned was the Kimber which easily out-shot all the others. The least accurate was probably the Colt, but not by much at all...it was far from "inaccurate"...about 3" at 25 yards.

With that said, I personally will NEVER...FREAKING EVER do business or give another dime to JA Ciener; he's a crook and a general POS
