A son of one of my friends used the 220 grain Speer flat nose to take two large Yukon River moose with his .358 Norma Mag. One shot was through the lung into the off side shoulder at close to 200 yards and the other was through both lungs at around 100 yards and that was a pass through. He was impressed with how tough the bullet was. I hear the 180 grain Speer flat nose is also tough.

I suspect the 220 grain version would work at .350 Rem velocities and the 180's at reduced velocities. Hopefully I will eventually try hollow pointing these bullets. For some reason there is not a lot of info on actual users of the 220 grain Speer.
