Hank Sr wasn’t a drunk?
I think Johnny Paycheck shot a guy and did a stretch in the pen over it. That’s pretty outlaw.
Hank only drank when he was alone or with somebody.
There's a long list of country outlaws who did time, and a longer list of them that should have for the drugs and other crazy sheet they did.
If you want to talk about fame, talent and changing the landscape of music, nobody can touch Hank Sr. in my opinion. I much prefer his sons style, but I respect the old man for what he did.
