It was warm here as well, but still cooling off enough at night to keep them chasing. Late evenings seemed to be the best time.

I was also surprised by the lack of shooting here on opening day. I heard much more shooting during the two weekends of Muzzleloader season.

Cold front coming through next week, and late rut = only big boys still out looking for does. Will be a good week!
