The redfield is no longer in production. I bought mine off ebay and paid as much for it as the rifle would have cost new. It wouldn’t tighten up on the grooves so I had to add a shim in between the tightening screw and the dovetail piece that moves to tighten in the grooves. Solid now and once I get front sight shimmed, I will be hunting with it.
