I was thinking about a fixed 4x hawke too. Thought those were made for air rifles.
You're going to have a hard time keeping any scope on that gun. The air rifle manufacturers have gone way too far in persuit of more fps with these magnum spring guns IMO. Ruins accuracy, and destroys even expensive scopes. You would be better off with a Weihrauch HW30 or HW50 or a CO'2 rifle like a QB78, Sheridan 2260 or Hammerli 850 for a backyard plinker/small pest control rifle.
