The 30S fills the role as an all around outdoors, go to town gun for me. It is perfect for putting in my chest rig (hill people gear) when packing out hind quarters, instead of carrying a rifle. It serves as a lightweight hiking piece in wolf/lion/bear country. It also serves well for in town CCW duties.

Since 2021 is shaping up to be the "Year of the Large Primer carry guns, as small primers are pretty tough to get, I am carrying my .45s more and more. Between 1911s and .45 caliber Glocks, large primers are definitely on the menu in 2021.
