Didn't make it out. Weather and house hold "stuff" got in the way. Will definitely give it a try next year. Pretty positive he'd retrieve them for me as he's done that for rabbits I've shot while bird hunting with him.
I think a dedicated squirrel dog would be a hoot to have a round! Just not sure my wife would agree to the breeds that are used for that.
