I have a number of WWII documentaries on VHS (gotta get those onto DVD or BluRay soon). One of them features General Patton speaking. I was a little taken aback by the sound of his voice...not at all as George C. Scott portrayed him. The General had a rather high-pitched voice I thought was "out of character," based on preconceived notions of course.

IMO, he was the greatest fighting general we had during WWII, and maybe of all time. We sure could use more men of his caliber as leaders in this country in this day and time.

Don't be the darkness.

America will perish while those who should be standing guard are satisfying their lusts.
