Quite understandable. I have a single malt on my bar that isn't really bad, but it is certainly a let down compared to the same brand/age I bought years ago. I have a feeling that when production and exposure of the brand increased their barrel management and quality regime went downhill. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to have it or serve it with spring water on the rocks.
