I did a little comparison with the 938 because it wasn't feeding 115gr well, and a self defense gun has to be 100% reliable.
Sig recommended 124gr so that's a good indicator. I couldn't tell the difference between Hornady Critical Defense, Critical Duty, or the Gold Dots. I also tried 147gr but they didn't seem to expand quite as well.
Non - science comparison. I'm sure someone has done videos on YT.
Sig now has their own line as well, and one of them now has 135gr as well.
