I have been carrying a G26 for 12 years now. Recently picked up a 43x and really prefer that over the G26. I am actually thinking about trying to trade out the 26 for a G19 or G17 just to have a mid to full size pistol around when I am not worried about concealment.
The huge advantage of going with a 26 vs one of these new double staggered mag, slimline, subcompacts, is that you can use so many Glock magazines with them, 10 round, 12 round, 15 round, 26 round, and 33 round. So you can carry it with the 10 round mag, and keep a higher cap mag in your glove compartment. Not nearly so much the case with this new type of compact pistol.
