I have a No. 1A at my smith waiting on a barrel to become an 8x57 rimmed. I have CFE223 on hand that I've been using for 32 Win Special and looking forward to using it with the 8x57. Have a little 748 left and might try that also. This is helpful information - thanks for posting.
