I’ve had 2 model 48’s. A 6 inch and a 8 3/8 inch barrel pistol. Loved them both. Finally sold the 6 inch. I personally think there is a significant difference between the magnum and long rifle. Targets can’t tell the difference but game can. Hasbeen
