I’ve had 2 model 48’s. A 6 inch and a 8 3/8 inch barrel pistol. Loved them both. Finally sold the 6 inch.

This is where I stand on the comparison. There is a big difference on game. I also believe the 22 mag from a short barreled revolver can be a devastating personal defense weapon.
