I wouldn't know. The only one's I've shot had an internal suppressor. The rifle report is less than the pellet hitting what you shoot at. Less than an old Daisy Red Ryder.

Now the single shot break barrel rifles can be loud...


I have shot PCP rifles without a suppressor and they are louder than a 22LR and louder than springers.
