Haha. Does anybody know how to scale a bream
anymore? When's the last time anybody saw a
fish scaler in the fishing section at the store?
I use a spoon myself, but fish scalers used to be
pretty common

GrandDad always used a butter knife to scale them when I was a kid. I remember he laughed at me because I bought a fish scaler at Gibson’s Discount Center. Also remember all the old time bait houses sold them when I was a kid.
If I remember correctly, I paid $ .29 cents for mine in about 1969.
