I hate to give her credit for anything. But she’s correct. It won’t be long after withdrawal, and that place will revert right back to the way it was before the US arrived there. We’ll be right back there intervening before Christmas.
Why would we involve ourselves in a stone age society 1000s of miles across a big ocean? Or for that matter in a fairly modern society such as Ukraine?
You are so right. Screw Afghanistan. We need to get out, and stay out. Even the wealthiest country in the world can go broke by getting involved in ceaseless, useless foreign wars. Like Iraq, Vietnam, and Afghanistan.
