I sure hope so. My other one (regular Fwt) is giving me fits. Now that the lease is idle, I'm going to swap out the scope, load up another batch of Match Kings, and try it again. So far it's been pretty inconsistent, so if this doesn't work I'm thinking it might go to someone for an examination and remedy. I really want it to a shooter as well. In the meantime, though, this SG will be a lot of fun.


It seems I have asked you before, but maybe not. Have you tried Seafire's load of 40 grains IMR 3031 to test for accuracy? I have used the load in the past with success, the most recent with a Model 70 Winchester pre-64 7x57 that the owner had a new 22" barrel put on it, because it wouldn't shoot. That did not help so he put it in a local gun shop on consignment. I bought it and loaded it with Seafire's load of 40 grs IMR 3031 and 140 gr Nosler BTs. It produced 2,700 fps and 1.5" 5 shot groups. I put it in the safe for later load development.
