We need to track down who is doing this ransom ware stuff. Any country that harbors them should experience a B-52 carpet bombing if they don't turn them over.
Good bet it’s Russia.
Pipeline will pay the ransom, then be given a code matrix to get them back into their own network. The pipeline will then have to pay several million dollars to have their network scrubbed, and new security protection placed by a reputable cyber security organization.
The FEDS will track the operation and identify it as Russian...Nothing will happen as a consequence, at least what we as civilians will notice.
Seen this happen before in 2020 with another corporation.
It’s a fûck’n nightmare for any organization to deal with.
