Yeah, I've had the pistol roll with the slide at the bottom of the bag. Another problem with the Kydex is fiddling with the length of the static line to get it correct (not hard but something to consider otherwise you end up needing a lot of range of motion) and it's not quiet for popping a grouse, bunny, or squirrel.
