I've never seen a need to go beyond H4831 or H4350 in the .300 H&H with bullet weights of 150 - 180 grains. Also found CCI-250 and Fed.215MM completely interchangeable with this cartridge; virtually same velocity, point of impact, etc. Based on results using one rifle only, a pre-'64 Model 70.
