I imagine they will. They paid land owners up to $3000 per foot to put it in and they'll pay to take it out.

He doesn't. It is completely false.

First there's completion times and start times involved in an easement contract.

Then there's duration. Usually the duration is for several years and is renewed as used.

If the pipeline is abandoned and not used, the easement is void. In fact, the land owner at that point owns the pipe in the ground as well.
