Probably should have stayed in the house and let them break in. Probably would have had a better outcome once they were inside.

The smart thing to do would have been to stay in house and let the crowd pass. Coming out with guns and yelling at the crowd on the street and sidewalk was dumb. Video camera would have been better choice than firearms, except I suspect in this case video would not help property owners cause.
All this could have been avoided by posting BLM and Joe Biden for President signs in front yard.
