I wonder, seeing some of the same type stuff you describe, if they even teach NEVER block a road or driveway anymore. Was SOP when I grew up, even to the point our old man wouldn't let us kids block his suburban driveway when we came over for a holiday visit. With 5 of us, sometimes there wasn't much parking nearby.
